Ruti Abramovitch

Known for her lyrical and colorful tone, pianist Ruti Abramovitch is a highly sought-after soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician. Born in Israel and currently based in Chicago, Ruti has performed at some of the city’s most notable concert halls such as Symphony Center, The Art Institute of Chicago, Preston-Bradley Hall at the Cultural Center, and Nichols Concert Hall in Evanston, IL. She has been a featured soloist at the Dame Myra Hess Concert Series, as well as having select performances broadcasted live on Chicago’s classical radio station 98.7 FM WFMT.

As a chamber musician and collaborator, Ruti has collaborated with local musicians from the Chicago Symphony, Lyric Opera Orchestra, and the Grant Park Symphony Orchestra. Ruti is a graduate of the Tel-Aviv Academy of Music and the Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington, IN where she worked with Menahem Pressler of the Beaux Arts Trio.
